Usury and Banking

Usury, Weapon for Subjugation.

Written by Andy
Mons. Sebastiano Nicotra (1855-1929) – Nunzio Apostolico

Sebastiano Nicotra (1855-1929) quoted a passage from an old manuscript, only lately discovered, in which a Jew describes the key of Jewish power in our day. He said to his brothers:

My sons, Jehovah is with us in his mercy and has reserved to us a powerful weapon, or better said, an invincible virtue, which we ought to launch into the midst of the nations of Christ in order to subject them to our domination. This virtue is named in the holy book, and it is called usury. The holy book, you know it, prohibits usury among brothers, against the tribe, against ourselves; but it doesn’t prohibit using it against the foreigner, against the infidel, against the enemy, since it is a weapon of war and an instrument of victory. Usury then remains to us, and better than the faith and morals of Christ, usury is the little stone that fell from the mountain, which must cover the world; the mustard seed that grows into a superb tree, which will dominate the world.”

Socialismo, [“Socialism”] P339-40. (as quoted in La Civilta Cattolica, vol. VII, no. XIV. 1890 (Oct, Nov, Dec) (English Translation, 1998) )

Around 1881, a great rabbi, speaking in Paris to his faithful, said:

Using the pretext of aiding the masses of workers, we can overtake the world by taxing the majority of landowners, and when their property (through usury) shall be transferred to our power, the labor of the Christian proletariat will fall to our advantage. Poverty enslaved, said the poet. The proletariat are the lowest servants of the speculators (usurers), but oppression and outrage humbly serve the cunning. Who can deny the cunning, prudence and the perspicacity of the Israelites?”

V. La Contemporain, [“The Contemporary”] 1881-07-01 (as quoted in La Civilta Cattolica, vol. VII, no. XIV. 1890 (Oct, Nov, Dec) (English Translation, 1998) )

In ‘La Civilta Cattolica’ of 1890, the author writes: “The legitimization of theft from Christians is impudently professed by the rabbinical schools. ” and he quotes:

It is permissible, whenever possible, to cheat a Christian. Usury imposed on a Christian is not only permissible, rather, it is a good; and it is lawful to impose it even on holydays. So much so that you ought to cheat a Christian in such a way as to ensure that he remains ruined.”

Shólchan Aruch Chshen Mispat. F. 348, n. I jore d’cáss. 159 n. i. (as quoted in La Civilta Cattolica, vol. VII, no. XIV. 1890)

You can also find statements in the Old Testament. In one of his speeches Moses states:

You shall not lend money and expect more in return from your neighbour. But you may lend money and expect more in return from foreigners.”

Deuteronomy 23:19-20 (My translation)

More traditionally, it is translated as:

You shall not charge interest to your countrymen: interest on money, food, or anything that may be loaned at interest. You may charge interest to a foreigner, but to your countrymen you shall not charge interest, so that the LORD your God may bless you in all that you undertake in the land which you are about to enter to possess.

Deuteronomy 23:19-20

As Christians we do not operate Mosaic Law. We are under the Law of Christ. The old testament should be rejected. To show the awfulness of Mosaic Law, we can read another of his instructions:

Thou shalt surely smite the inhabitants of that city with the edge of the sword, destroying it utterly, and all that is therein, and the cattle thereof, with the edge of the sword.”

Deuteronomy 13:15

Moses follows this with:

The city must remain a mound of ruins forever, never to be rebuilt.”

(Deuteronomy 13:6)

Recognizing the power of Usury to impoverish, Moses commands:

You will lend to many nations but won’t borrow from any; you’ll rule over many nations but none will rule over you.

Deuteronomy 15:6

I usually explain usury as a story:

If you and I own all the gold in the world, and you and I lend out all that gold to the people, at the end of the year they owe us gold plus ten percent. After two years they owe us gold plus ten percent plus ten percent and so on. They would not be able to repay us, so we would gradually take over all their assets.”

Andy Chalkley

This is what happens in the modern world. You have to pay money to banks to use a pocket handkerchief piece of land that has existed for millions of years with a house on it that was built by a group of ten men in ten weeks over eighty years ago. These money lenders end up owning the shares of all the companies. (The means of production.) And they garnish a high proportion of the wages of the workers for land that was provided by god or nature for all living things at no cost. Mosaism is something that must be rejected. Mosaism is commonly defined as: “Attachment to the doctrines of Moses.”

Jesus said we should love fellow man as ourselves. This is wrongly interpreted. He also heavily rebukes those that ‘do the wrong thing’. He is particularly hard on the Pharisees. It is wrong to assume that we must be good to all. We must protect ourselves from those that might do us harm or those that damage our way of life. We may live a good life, but not at the expense of others. But we should reject that wish to modify or alter our way of life. This is happening at present with the destruction of Western Culture.

The Jewish question in our times does not differ greatly from the one aroused in the Christian people of the Middle Ages. Mosaism in itself is unable to be argued as being hateful toward Christians, since, until the coming of Christ, it was the only true religion, prefiguring and preparing the way for Christianity, which, according to God’s law, was its successor. But the Judaism of the centuries turned its back on the Mosaic law, replacing it with the Talmud, a fifth of which is pharasaical and which in great part, fulminates against Christ, the Redemption and the Messiah. And since Talmudism enters greatly into the Jewish question, it cannot be said that this disapproval of Judaism is expressed in an intrinsically religious form, because in Talmudism, the Christian nations are despised, but not primarily from a theological standpoint. Rather, Christians are reduced to a kind of moral nothingness, which contradicts the basic principles of natural law.”

La Civilta Cattolica, vol. VII, no. XIV. 1890

This was not lost on Jesus and is pointed out by Paul about those that: “have persecuted us, and please not God, and are adversaries to all men.” (The First Epistle of St. Paul to the Thessalonians). He is stating that there are people that are adversaries. In other words, you are not going to get on with them if they are out to destroy you. Jesus did not go around being polite to everyone and saying nice things to everyone. This is a myth and a misinterpretation of what they write about him. In the 1889 La Civilta Cattolica, it is written:

Yet, the Jewish race, in which there is also a nation, although one without a fixed fatherland and without a political organism, lives dispersed among nations, mixed among them. Although sheltered within the whole, the Jews still form a social union. They view their hosts as enemies, and they greedily prey upon them, even as they sit at their tables. Thus it is that the great Israelite family, dispersed among the gentile people of the world, form a foreign nation within the nations in which they reside, and are their sworn enemy, since the cardinal point of Talmudism is the oppression and spoliation of the very people who extend hospitality to their disciples. About which St. Paul, at the end of his days, said that the Jews were God’s displeasure and repulsive to all men, Deo non placent, et omnibus hominibus adversantur. [“who please not God and are adversaries to all men”] (I Thess. ii. 14).”

La Civilta Cattolica, vol. VII, no. XIV. 1890

The problem of which we are talking is ‘usury’ — the lending of money and expecting more in return. This lending leads to impoverishment and an ability of the usurers to leverage their wealth and other’s impoverishment to further their influence and control. La Civilta Cattolica in 1890, puts it this way:

They arrogate to themselves the conquest of the world, of reigning over all the nations by overthrowing them, of subjugating all the peoples to themselves. And they appropriate the right to stake their claim on all of the blessings of the universe, their legitimate birthright given them by God. It is amazing to read and hear about this terrible challenge by a fistful of men, about 8 million of them, who course among five hundred million others, and who seriously wish to enslave them, and dream of doing so!

La Civilta Cattolica, vol. VII, no. XIV. 1890

This has invariably eventuated with pogroms — persecution of the Jews. The issue was not their religion — or ‘Jewishness’ — but the Usury. They were persecuted because they had inflicted usury on the people. If the Martians inflicted usury on the people and put the people in a debt bind and put the nations in a debt bind, the people would rise against the Martians, not because they came from another planet or because of any interplanetary racism or bigotry, but because of the subjugation by usury. The usurers that were opposed due to their imposition of usury on the people would call any detractors a newly invented slur: “You’re anti-Martian.” and would create ‘hate-laws’ to kill anyone who was ‘anti-Martian’. We should protect the Jewish people from themselves, by discouraging them from dominating the debt banking system and the political system. Jews were not persecuted ‘because they killed Jesus’! The problem at the time was the impoverishment and subjugation of the people by the money manipulation of the ruling class known as the Paraphrases. Similar happened later as the Roman empire collapsed. The usurers caused the collapse of Rome as is explained in La Civilta Cattolica :

In every country, this immutable law of Hebrew prosperity in every country is always to the detriment of the well being and liberty of the inhabitants. Many years before Rome fell into the claws of history, the famous Lemann brothers, who converted from Judaism and became priests of the Catholic Church, in one of their works, which merits meditation, wrote:

“O Israelites of Rome, we understand the attitude of our people. If you are conceded the right of possession which you invoke, we wager that, within thirty to fifty years from now, Rome will be in your hands.” (16)

(16) Rome et les juives. [“Rome and the Jews”]

And so the prophecy came to pass. The city of Rome fell quickly into the abyss, and was economically and materially subjugated to the Jews, as were all of the major cities of the great nations of Europe. And commensurate with this subjugation, which continues to fester in the moral, political and economic spheres, the European people see in it the kernel of the Jewish question in our time.

La Civilta Cattolica, vol. VII, no. XIV. 1890

Irrespective of your religious stand, La Civilta Cattolica is stating that it was Usury that brought about the downfall of the Roman Empire. If you are in doubt of the influence of Usury on the Downfall of the Roman Empire, I give you a string of quotes on the subject:

Anthony Migchels

…all land and most other assets had been centralized in the hands of a very few through Usury.

uring the fall of the Roman Empire, many citizens were enticed to borrow from the super wealthy. Eventually, the peasant class was wiped out: they became serfs. Serfs live in conditions where they cannot possibly expect to improve their conditions. They constantly owe more than they earn. They are, effectively, slaves.

The trade policies gave Rome the strongest economy of the ancient world, providing the Roman state with the resources to become the greatest empire of all time. Having only limited products, Rome had to export her gold though. Conquest was a means to replenish the treasury. This worked well for a while, but by the reign of Trajan (98-117 A.D.), the cost of conquest was greater than the riches it supplied. Borrowing money at interest caused the government to raise taxes and led to the inevitable reversal of its earlier commerce policies. High taxes, pervasive regulation and debasement of the currency ultimately undermined the strength of the Roman economy. In the end, the state simply did not have the resources to defend itself against barbarian invasions. Internally, Rome’s own citizens became increasingly alienated, which can be directly attributed to the practice of usury. The lack of Roman will to survive was a slow capitulation that none knew for the wiser. The major reason for the decline of pagan Rome can be attributed to the long-term destructive effects of usury. Indeed, usury has fueled the rise and the fall of the great civilizations of Egypt, Persia, Babylon, Greece and Rome.

The Roman government was far too corrupt already with its politicians bought by moneychangers for any fledgling Christian sect to have an affect on its decline. The moneychanger’s demand was perpetually self-serving, which was disparate to the common good of the populace.

debt was in fact the lifeblood of the Roman economy, at all levels . . . nomina were a completely standard part of the lives of people of property, as well as being an everyday fact of life for a great number of others. …

Nomina were transferable, and by the second century B.C., if not earlier, were routinely used as a means of payment for other assets . . . . The Latin term for the procedure by which the payer transferred a nomen that was owed to him to the seller was delegatio. [363]

The tale of the usurer’s power is reported during the revolt of several Italian cities in 88 AD. It concluded by the Roman siege of the Italian city of Asculum in the second year of the war. The war was costly and had damaged Italy’s economy. “During the war, debt had become more widespread. Uncertain about the future, financiers had begun refusing more loans and demanding payment. Those Romans angered by the moneylenders had begun a movement against usury. A praetor responded favorably to the movement and invoked an ancient law against usury that had long been ignored. This infuriated financiers, and a gang of men mobbed the praetor and cut his throat, and some who had spoken in favor of the praetor and against usury were lynched,

in his book ‘Inflation’, suggests that the collapse of the currency at the time of the Roman emperors to the fall in the price of copper, which caused a fall in the value of copper money.

The Moneychangers Exposed at Last!!

Usury was condemned by the early Congregation, and even the Council of Nicaea which was presided over by Pope Constantine, issued a sanction against it:

“Finally there followed the prescription of twenty canons or rules of discipline:

(17) prohibition of usury among the clergy; ” (First Council of Nicaea).

The Vatican invented “Jews” as a smokescreen for usury

Since usury was prohibited by the early church this left the money loving Vatican in a terrible dilemma. Officially they condemned usury in the most stringent terms, but behind the scenes they found a way to circumvent it. Their answer was to invent Jews and use them as a smokescreen for their money lending. This way the popes could continue to act pious and let the Jews take the rap for the loan sharking.

Finding fake Jews was no problem for Rome. Centuries before Christ, the Samaritans were pretending to be Jews. One of the most infamous Samaritans was Simon the Sorcerer, who tried to buy the Holy Spirit from St. Peter. This Simon later went to Rome, and was the actual founder of what later evolved into Roman Catholicism.

The Moneychangers Exposed at Last!! http://www.reformation.org/moneychangers.html

So, even the church got involved! I say the real Christianity is that which is taught by mothers to their children, particularly their young boys. The Church is a fellowship of Christians. Jesus said you could pray on your own. He hinted that you needed to ‘live’ Christianity. The Catholic Church can be likened to an Empire pretending to be a religion or a religion pretending to be an empire. We need the Church, but we must recognize its weaknesses as it is run by humans and it often becomes something that it was not intended to be. Ask your self the question: “Would Jesus approve of the Church and its participants?”
But of all the issues in society, the one that gives greatest dominance in our lives is the activity of Usury. When Usury takes hold, the usurers take hold over our lives and the governments of our nations. Eduardo tells us (And I am yet to find out who Eduardo was!) :

The moneychangers destroyed Rome from within by first monopolizing usury, monopolizing the precious mineral trade and then disproportionately magnifying the temporal businesses of prostitution (including pedophilia and homosexuality), and slavery.  ….  Always the impetus was buying influence concerning their trade. “

www.vanguardnewsnetwork.com/v1/index274.htm Usury and its Effect on Rome and Early Christianity by Eduardo

Thus as now, the usurers ‘buy’ influence to assist their trade. This is what we now call: “Corporatism” — corporate influence of government. Under democracy (favoured by usurers because it is easy to influence.), one lobbyist (briberist) has more power than all the voters put together. Eduardo further reports:

The Christians, political prisoners, prisoners of war, anarchists, and common criminals were increasingly blamed for the ills of Roman society. As the taxes and indebtedness of the people rose, so did the call for blood. The unfortunate many were paraded into the arena before cheering crowds to be slaughtered. Citizen patriots themselves were increasingly at odds with the growing democracy as the moneychangers increasingly influenced the public policy. These condemned citizens were branded “anarchists,” as the aristocrat Faccus nearly was when he challenged the power of the Roman Jews. The plebeian masses were more concerned with blood sports, circuses, and receiving bread than understanding the ominous effects of the moneychangers and lawyers on Roman society.

Again, it is the Usurers that are the problem. Usurers often use a claim of Jewishness as a mask to yell: “Anti-Semitic”, to silence those that are wise enough to work out what is happening. It is clarified in this statement:

Reform and Conservative are not Judaism at all. Their adherents are Jews, according to Jewish law, but their religion is not Judaism. They sanction homosexuality, divorce, intermarriage, and conversion. Such views are repugnant not only to Torah Judaism, but also to common morality. Reform and Conservative Judaism can be classed only in the category of heretical movements that have plagued our people at one time or another.”

Union of Orthodox Rabbis of the United States and Canada, March 1997

This of course may be like the naughty schoolboy shouting: “Not me!”

When usury takes hold of a nation, taxes become more necessary to pay the usurers. Here is a passage showing the influence of the usurers, written by the Jewish philosopher, Philo during the time of Caligula (37-41 A.D.). echoes Cicero’s edict concerning the collection of taxes:

“A little time ago in our own district by a person who was appointed to serve as collector of taxes. When certain debtors from poverty took flight in fear of some terrible retribution, he led off by force their women, children, parents, and other kin, and beat and abused them and inflicted every kind of outrage on them to reveal where the fugitive had gone or to pay what he owed–though they could do neither, the one from ignorance, the other from greater poverty than the fugitive’s. He did not give up until he had wrung their bodies with the rack and scourge and ended their lives with unheard of afflictions….When there were no kin left, the outrage was extended to their neighbors and at times whole villages and towns, which were quickly abandoned and emptied of inhabitants.”

A Jewish philosopher by the name of Philo during the time of Caligula (37-41 A.D.)

Even Islam bans usury as Mohamed was well aware of the perils of usury. In Islam, usury is called: “Riba”. You can search on the internet for ‘riba sheikh hosein’, Sheikh Hosein does numerous lectures to children on riba. This is from an Islamic website:

It is better for the creditor to give up his right as an act of charity.

Those who consume interest cannot stand [on the Day of Resurrection] except as one stands who is being beaten by Satan into insanity. That is because they say, “Trade is [just] like interest.” But Allah has permitted trade and has forbidden interest. So whoever has received an admonition from his Lord and desists may have what is past, and his affair rests with Allah . But whoever returns to [dealing in interest or usury] – those are the companions of the Fire; they will abide eternally therein.

Allah destroys interest and gives increase for charities. And Allah does not like every sinning disbeliever.

Indeed, those who believe and do righteous deeds and establish prayer and give zakah will have their reward with their Lord, and there will be no fear concerning them, nor will they grieve.

O you who have believed, fear Allah and give up what remains [due to you] of interest, if you should be believers.

And if you do not, then be informed of a war [against you] from Allah and His Messenger. But if you repent, you may have your principal – [thus] you do no wrong, nor are you wronged.

And if someone is in hardship, then [let there be] postponement until [a time of] ease. But if you give [from your right as] charity, then it is better for you, if you only knew.

Quran Al-Baqarah 2: 275-280

The Prophet Muhammad cursed all parties to usury, including the interest taker, the interest giver, the interest witness and the interest contract scribe.
