Dying for a lie, does not a hero make!

The blind will say:
America is the ‘Home of the Free’ and the ‘Land of the Brave’.
But the America, I see, is the ‘Home of the deceived’ and ‘Land of the slave’.
Her leaders lie, murder, and steal.
And deceive the young so they will join the military and kill, kill, kill.
The wars they fight are simply unjust.
Some see the truth and don’t know who to trust.
But the people call them heros and create a conflict inside.
Then soldiers become depressed and commit suicide.
When Americans understand that dying for a lie, makes not a hero.
Then they will stop supporting wars and wars will become zero.
It’s my dream that Americans will do what they should.
And will Seek the truth and stop calling evil – good.
Then we can rise and throw off the chains.
And truly become America once again.

Please be skeptical when a government calls for war through the media. You can detect its beginning as the media starts to gently demonize a nation and a person months or years in advance presenting said entity as a ‘threat’ and operating in an ‘immoral’ manner. The government calls for war through the media. So you have to assume that your media and your government is the enemy — the enemy of the people — which means you. I don’t recollect voting for war. The stated reasons are likely to be a bucket full of lies. I test any idea put to me with: “Is the opposite also true?” Our neocortex brain only operates on a single channel and a single idea may take hold in the brain without considering the opposite. The idea may stick in your mind without you realizing. If our country’s own borders are not being violated, nor likely to be violated, you have to bias your thinking by assuming that the demand is a lie.

Unfortunately, us Christians tend to be gullible suckers. We assume others will operate to the same level of integrity as ourselves — and that is possibly the biggest failing of the Christians. To believe the lies effectively makes you an accomplice to murder. Jesus was forever rebuking people particularly for wrongdoing. There are almost no reasons for your country to go to war when your country is not in fear of being invaded. To take a reverse stance – if your country is being invaded, arguments to do nothing, are also lies and propaganda.

Our media, politicians, and historians tell us how First World War should be remembered. The ‘approved’ argument is that Germany caused the war and that the UK went to war because Germany  violated Belgian neutrality. The shout is that it was a ‘just’ war fought for ‘democracy’ and the ‘rights’ of small nations. Democracy was not evident as the people did not vote for war — not that those that were cannonfodder had the vote at the time. British governments had a history of trampling rights of small nations. British capitalism had become dominant throughout the world by breaking treaties of sovereignty of weaker states. The demands of ‘capital’ had consistently been put ahead of the ‘rights’ of nations. These are hypocritical claims at best. The aims of the Triple Entente between Britain, France, and Russia had little to do with defending Belgian. Belgium, itself, had a barbaric history during its colonization of the Congo. The  brutality of the Belgian rule in the Congo was not something hidden from British leaders. 

In his second inaugural speech, President Obama said:

“We will defend our people and uphold our values through strength of arms and rule of law. We will show the courage to try and resolve our differences with other nations peacefully – not because we are nave about the dangers we face, but because engagement can more durably lift suspicion and fear. America will remain the anchor of strong alliances in every corner of the globe; and we will renew those institutions that extend our capacity to manage crisis abroad, for no one has a greater stake in a peaceful world than its most powerful nation. We will support democracy from Asia to Africa; from the Americas to the Middle East, because our interests and our conscience compel us to act on behalf of those who long for freedom.”

President Obama’s claims are quite bizarre! Under his command, the U.S. foreign policy has been anything but peaceful. For more than half a century, its actions have been violent, destructive and hostile to the needs of the people of affected nations. The U.S. government has been no supporter of democracy in other nations. It assisted despots until popular revolution had removed the U.S. supported puppets.

The power of lobby groups now exceeds the power of the voters. The immense influence of the ‘pro-Israeli’ lobby groups continues to grow with oligarch support. Politicians are very aware of this power and influence and clearly demonstrate their personal protection of Israeli interests. to shore up their personal position. The Israel lobby is in a position to intimidate the U.S. Congress and continues to lobby for U.S. policies that endorsing Israeli war crimes. This influences the ‘Iran’ propaganda. Iran represents no physical threat to the United States and certainly has done nothing to justify the bloodshed of war. We may not align with Islamic thinking, but neither do we wish to cause them a body-count. Neither is Iran threatening Israel. Iran has not never initiated a war against any country in the last century or so. Long gone is the Persian Empire. But the anti-Iran propaganda continues. Please do not fall for Netanyahu’s lies. They will bring nothing but shame and suffering to the USA. 

Obama is a great orator. You can watch his eyes move between the two script sheets on either side of the television camera. If only he and others followed his own words, or maybe his script writer’s words:

Unfortunately, religion enters politics when Christian representation is blasted but a Senator Coons can state:

“I wish it had been longer. … We had so many members of the Senate and leaders of the Jewish community from around our country and there are so many topics to discuss. It was a very productive hour, I only wish we had a second hour… There was a vigorous discussion about how we all need to fight bigotry and antisemitism in all its forms and finding a positive shared path.”

Under the title of ” Jewish leaders met with Senate Democrats today.” in ‘Jewish Insider’ (and interesting name!), they list some of the Jewish contingent present: ewish leaders attending the meeting included AIPAC’s Howard Kohr, J Street’s Jeremy Ben Ami, ADL’s Jonathan Greenblatt, JNFA’s Mark Wilf, Conference of President’s Arthur Stark, Democratic Majority for Israel’s Mark Mellman, Jewish Democratic Council of America’s Ron Klein, Israel Policy Forum’s Susie Gelman, Bend the Arc’s Stosh Cotler, The Rabbinical Assembly’s Rabbi Julie Schonfeld, Union for Reform Judaism’s Rabbi Rick Jacobs, Orthodox Union’s Avi Katz, Hebrew Immigrant Aid Society’s Mark Hetfield, National Coalition Supporting Eurasian Jewry’s Mark B. Levin, Jewish Women International’s Loribeth Weinstein, and Jewish Council for Public Affairs’ David Bernstein. Yet more of the senators were Jewish! Can we have some Christian representation?

Calling someone a ‘war hero’ is nothing but lip-service. You are not a hero if you are fighting an unjust war. Claims such as: “war heroes gave their all for their country.” are false if their country was not under threat of invasion. There are no war heroes. There are only war victims. They are victims of a sociopathic power establishment which cares little for the soldier. Never has. Never will. You need to condition your self against war propaganda. As a young Russian male said to me in a Moscow hostel: “In your country, you believe propaganda. In our country we not believe propaganda.” Entwined in the meaning of hero are the concepts that the hero’s actions involved fighting and dying for some noble cause; for your country folk’s freedom, for whatever democracy means, fighting for good and just reasons.  In reality, they were dying to satisfy the whims of those that control our governments. They have been dying to uphold the profit margins of oligarchical plutocrats, for land and resource assets for corporate appropriation, whilst following a neoconservative, globalist agenda to determine control over ‘our’ planet — our planet, not the corporate planet. The propagandists and their controllers must trick you into believing the death, maiming, or mental disability was for noble causes and not a deed of greed. Wars are being fought without just cause. It must mot be considered toxic to suggest the deaths were ‘collateral damage’ to the warmonger’s greed. It is fantasy to suggest that their loved one died fighting to make the world a better place. We must recognize that we have an ‘un-elected power establishment’ that stands above the pre-chosen faithful candidates. It is nothing but a delusion to believe that military personnel are participating in a heroic pastime of invading nations deemed “enemy” by a complicit media. The longer we remain deluded, the longer more of our gullible young will be culled for fake war or, wounded and psychologically damaged while following the will of the evil people. As Christians, we a should act as Jesus and show rage to the people who put them in harm’s way.

A major outcome of the 9/11 attacks was to create the ‘Authorization for Use of Military Force Against Terrorists‘, which conveniently allows the war-hawks controlling the United States to build up a military presence inside the borders of any nation deemed to contain terrorists. It has thus been made significantly simpler to enable regime change destabilization. Such action inflicted upon the likes of Iraq and Libya have caused terrorism to run rampant though our homelands. This comes under my rules of opposites: “Is the opposite also true?” More terrorism after we had a campaign against terrorism!

And back to the opening poem:

Then they will stop supporting wars and wars will become zero.

Not until we stop believing the lie will the soldiers cease to die.

Our troops should not be on foreign soil. Our troops should be nowhere except on our nation’s soil. Our troops are dedicated to ‘protect the nation from enemies outside and within. Any person with allegiances of any kind to a foreign nation should have no say in the government of our nation. Any group that professes allegiance to another nation should be outlawed. And none of its members should hold a position of government authority. Our army should protect us from foreign interference in our affairs and politics.

It is time to honestly attack this subject. We must stop accepting the pretense that to globalists power grabs and military expansionism has anything to do with individual military heroics or the military service of our young. We need soldiers when at war. What we have is a misuse of military might for belligerent purposes causing death and misery to millions of our world citizens.

The word ‘hero’ is used far too often for the wrong reason, such as people who volunteer for the armed forces so they can kill innocent people in another country. When they come back to their home country, people call them heros. I just don’t understand what is so heroic about this.
