There’s no Zionism in Judaism. Zionism is diametrically opposed to Judaism.
Zionism, a racist ethnonationalist ideology, was manufactured barely more than years ago in 1897.
It was strongly and universally rejected by Jews around the world, who saw it as an attempt to destroy the Jewish religion.
Jews also feared Zionism would paint an antisemitic target on the back of every Jew in Europe and United States, where Jewish people had long been accused of national disloyalty.
But stoking antisemitism in Western countries is exactly what the founders of Zionism aimed to do. They wanted to make life unbearable for Jews in Europe – to encourage them to migrate to Palestine, where Zionists wanted to build a “Jewish” state on stolen Palestinian land.
Tragically, they not only succeeded in dispossessing and displacing indigenous peoples but also in convincing the world Zionism is indistinguishable from Judaism.
There’s nothing more antisemitic than Zionism, and real Jews know it!

I think the pre-Zionist started in the 1860s and help put together a lot of the Jewish religion. 1897 is when the Jewish religion adopted the star of David.

Israel serves a strategic geo-political purpose (suez canal, oil in the Arab states, and its proximity to the middle east for intelligence purposes and a launching point for initiatives into the region if required) to the west in general and to the US in particular due to the fact that it is today’s Rome so to speak.

Israel was also seen by the US as a counterweight to Soviet influence in the region during the Cold War and today against Russia.
As a result, what we have seen is the US supporting Israel even when Israel has executed the most egregious acts in the region; the same acts by an Arab nation would be treated much differently.
US support not only takes the form of money (Israel is the largest cumulative recipient of U.S. foreign aid: up to February 2022, the U.S. had provided Israel US$150 billion (non-inflation-adjusted) in assistance.) and armaments (In 1999, the U.S. government signed a commitment to provide Israel with at least US $2.7 billion in military aid annually for ten years; in 2009 it was raised to $3 billion; and in 2019 raised to a minimum of US $3.8 billion. Since 1972, the U.S. has also extended loan guarantees to Israel to assist with housing shortages, absorption of new Jewish immigrants and economic recovery.), but also political support, having used its United Nations Security Council veto power 45 times against resolutions condemning Israel, out of 88 times in which its veto has been used.
The most recent time the US used its veto at the UN Security Council to protect Israel was on June 4, 2025, when it blocked a draft resolution calling for an “immediate, unconditional and permanent ceasefire” between Israel and Hamas in Gaza. This was the fifth time the US had vetoed a ceasefire resolution in order to protect Israel during the ongoing conflict.

The US has frequently used its veto power to shield Israel from UN Security Council resolutions critical of its actions. In this instance, the US argued that the ceasefire demand was not linked to the immediate and unconditional release of hostages held by Hamas. The other 14 members of the Security Council voted in favor of the resolution. And, as we see from the current slaughter of Palestinians by the Israelis, the US has not been seen to condemn the actions.
The US clearly has a conflict of geopolitical interest and pressure from AIPAC when it comes to Israel, so there pressuring western nations who finally willing to recognize Palestine should come as no surprise given that the US has stood by while a genocide is taking place.

Recently, there is a meeting that has been called by the US at the Security Council regarding hostages. At the end of the day, the political, legal, and military response to hostages is not a genocide, but this meeting called by the US will be another show of support for Zionist Israel and its genocide. I had always believed Israel is the land of God and the Israelis are Gods people. I did not know the difference between Jews or Zionist. Even now I don’t know. Israel use Jews and holocaust to commit their horrible atrocities I have ever witnessed. I was not born during holocaust.
